Domestic Preparedness Journal

The Podcast is part of the Domestic Preparedness multimedia platform that has been informing emergency management practitioners since 1998. As part of the Texas Division of Emergency Management and the Texas A&M University System, Domestic Preparedness delivers credible, practitioner-centered content through its Journal, Weekly Brief, and an active website that gets over 126,000 visitors monthly.

The Podcast builds on this foundation by diving into real-world challenges and timely topics such as terrorism awareness, cybersecurity threats, specialized unit operations, Psychosocial Hazards, and more. Each episode brings forward the voices and experiences of those on the frontlines, offering relevant insights, lessons learned, and strategies that matter to today’s emergency preparedness community.
